Queen’s Park Day isn’t all we do!
We also work with Brent council, the local Safer Neighbourhoods police team and the City of London (who own and manage Queen’s Park) to make the whole Queen’s Park area a cleaner, safer and greener place to live and work. We aim to create a strong, vibrant community with a friendly atmosphere. Every two years we put on the popular Open Gardens and Studios Event (next one in June 2012).
We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month at 7.30 for 8pm at St. Anne’s Church, Salusbury Road, NW6 (opposite the end of Brooksville Avenue). The next meetings are on Thursday 9th September, Thursday 14th October and Thursday 11th November (the AGM). The meetings are a great way to keep up to date with local affairs and to meet your neighbours.
The more members we have the more we can do.
